Arduino Project-এর জন্য Custom 3D Printed Enclosure কেন ব্যবহার করবেন?

Arduino project breadboard-এ কাজ করলেও final demo, client presentation বা real-world use-এর জন্য একটি secure enclosure দরকার। Custom 3D Printed Enclosure ব্যবহার করলে board, sensor, switch, display এবং wiring-এর জন্য exact-fit housing তৈরি করা যায়।

PCB Measurement সঠিক হওয়া জরুরি

Board-এর length, width, mounting hole, USB connector, DC jack এবং pin-header height measure করুন। শুধু board-এর outline নিয়ে box design করলে cable plug বা jumper wire-এর জায়গা কম পড়ে যেতে পারে।

Port ও Button Access

USB cable plug, reset button, power connector, switch এবং display-এর জন্য actual assembly অনুযায়ী opening দিন। Connector opening-এর চারপাশে সামান্য clearance রাখুন যাতে cable সহজে ঢুকতে পারে।

Mounting Method

Arduino board standoff + screw, clip অথবা slide-in rail দিয়ে fix করা যায়। Screw boss design করলে wall thickness ও tool access বিবেচনা করুন। বারবার খুলতে হলে threaded insert practical হতে পারে।

Ventilation ও Heat

Basic Arduino board খুব বেশি heat না দিলেও regulator, motor driver বা power module থাকলে ventilation প্রয়োজন হতে পারে। Enclosure-এর airflow path এমন রাখুন যাতে dust protection এবং cooling-এর balance থাকে।

Material নির্বাচন

• PLA: indoor prototype ও presentation enclosure-এর জন্য সহজ
• PETG: functional use, better toughness ও moderate heat resistance
• ASA: outdoor use ও UV exposure-এর জন্য useful
• TPU: flexible bumper, gasket বা protective cover-এর জন্য

Design Workflow

1. সব component physical measurement নিন
2. PCB ও connector envelope CAD-এ model করুন
3. Wall, lid, port ও mounting feature যোগ করুন
4. Small fit-test section print করুন
5. Board বসিয়ে cable access test করুন
6. Final enclosure print করুন
