Moving part design করলে tolerance, clearance, friction এবং load path সম্পর্কে practical understanding তৈরি হয়। CAD animation-এর পর physical model test করলে theory এবং real behavior-এর difference বোঝা যায়।
Gear Project
Different gear ratio, tooth count এবং center distance compare করার জন্য modular gear system print করা যায়। Small gear-এর ক্ষেত্রে printer resolution এবং backlash consider করতে হবে।
Fixture ও Jig Project
Drilling guide, assembly fixture বা measuring jig তৈরি করলে Design for Manufacturing ও repeatability সম্পর্কে practical skill বাড়ে।
Robot Mechanism
Servo mount, gripper finger, joint housing এবং sensor bracket combine করে small robot mechanism বানানো যায়। Standard screws, bearings ও shafts-এর সঙ্গে printed parts ব্যবহার করলে project আরও realistic হয়।
